Very informative, the same as Cowhorn Mountain.

Cheers.

Another good page Brian.

Looks like you caught some pretty decent weather down there - last wknd. right?

We were planning on trying the Rabbit Ears climb (similar general area) but backed off since the forecast seemed questionable - now we see we should've gone.

Yeah it was just a couple days ago I was there. It was only sunny for a short period in the morning. Then it snowed off and on the rest of the day without much in the way of views so don't feel too bad. Were you going to the the Rabbit Ears down south or in the Menagerie? I've heard the Menagerie is the harder one. Have some friends who did it a few weeks ago. Good luck and thanks for the vote.

We planned on doing the one down south (between Roseburg and Crater Lk. roughly) - the one added by Ty to the Oregon list of mtns. - the easiest way up to top is a 5.4/5.5 (according to Ty and the book he mentions).

Can you give any hints at what the page needs to be 4 stars. Thanks.

Brian - This mtn doesn't have your usual excellent "flow". I can tell it's near Oakridge and Cow Mtn, but is it visible from any highways? Is it frequently climbed? I'm not familiar with the area and didn't get a good sense of the setting from your description.

As far actually finding the mtn & climbing it, the page is good. - Cory
