Hasn't voted | thanks for the vote. I am planning on a trip up to chicken spring lake and a climb to ciurqe peak the end of may, I know y'all have had a heavy snow year, whats your guess on possible conditions? Thanks Mark | |

Voted 10/10 | Hi Mark, sorry it took me a while to respond. I'd say your biggest obstacle will be horseshow meadows road. It usually has rock fall all over it that has to be cleaned up. They usually do it by memorial day but sometimes they don't. Of course, this year snow may be an issue too. Just call ahead to be sure about that road being open. Otherwise, I'd say go for it - just be ready for lots of snow covering the trail. | |
