Decent page but could use some additional info:

-height

-lat/long

-area code on Ranger Station number

-more camping info; can you provide a link to the nearest campground? if not a link at least some info?

-any idea how this one got its name; it sort of begs to be told with a name like this one (if you don't know, let me know and I could try to research it for you)

Let me know if you add the above info (or some of it) and I'll look to upgrade my vote. Thanks. -Brian

I have added to the Fuji Mountain page (including a route), but I have no idea how Fuji got it's name. I know that when Japanese delegates visited Eugene, they climbed Fuji Mountain. This may be how it got it's name, but I am not sure. Thank you for your advice.

According to Oregon Geographic Names (the bible of Oregon place names), "Fuji Mountain...is another of Oregon's mystery names. The name predates World War II and has no known connection to the famous Mount Fujiyama in Japan. It certainly has no physical resemblance, either in size or prominence."

Link to Topo map would be helpful.

Also, would be great for you to sign your own summit register to get a bit more experiential data about climb experiences.

Also, you have no route info.

Assume this is just a hike, but have no info against which to judge difficulty.... length of hike, vertical elevation gain, typical round trip hike time from car.

I have changed my page significantly since you have last seen it. I was wondering if you could take another look and then possibly change your vote.

Could you add the latitude and longitude location for this mountain? As it is now, it cannot be seen on the interactive map page.
