Hasn't voted | Unfortunately you can't see everest from the summit because there is another huge mountain in the way. However one day's walk up the Khumbu Valley and you get to a place called Gorak Shep where there is a lodge to stay in (if you can cope with the altitude) and you can see everest from there. You can also get a great view of everest from a place further West called Gokyo Ri. I went there for a couple of days to acclimatise for my climb of Imja Tse/ Island Peak. | |
