Until then, it would help everyone alot if You just took a few minutes and checked Your spelling and punctuation.....Most of Your photos are great !!! Voted 8/10 | But what a bullshit! There is not a single part of the parc itself owned by the royal family, en there are fences!!! This dude handled the complete Veluwe-region, and not just the parc, which is not clear from the texts. Most of the military-grounds ARE restricted area's, so are the areas where is hunted in fall. Also, there is a fall-closure of most of the Veluwe parts: from 15 September till 25th of December. I don't know WHY this guy maintains this page, because it is most obvious that he does not know a lot about it. And btw, if we (the soldiers, I'm stationed in Schaarsbergen, Veluwe) are on practice on our grounds, you won't come of it without being seen. Only, we do not always act on people we see on OUR grounds, because not all of them are closed down. If we get someone at our restricted grounds, he is bound to go to the military police (marechaussee) because you are trespassing. You won't get shot;) just arrested... | |

Hasn't voted | By the way, the highest point on the Veluwe-hills is Posbank near Arnhem, which is 110m.:D This is bullshit as well, the highest point on the "Posbank", or better, Herikhuizerveld is Tafelberg, with 103.9 meters. The actual highest point is an unnamed hill located 52 degrees, 2 minutes, 17 seconds North and 6 degrees, 3 seconds East. This hill is commonly reffered to as "Zijpenberg", which is not true, because the Zijpenberg is 1300 meters south on bearing 170, just off the Beekhuizenseweg, about 150 meters before it intersects with the Snippendaalseweg. The actual hill on the Herikhuizerveld, with the monument called "Posbank" is 'only' 98.9 meters in elevation. | |

Voted 8/10 | There are several spots near Apeldoorn (just west of the city) which are >100m. The Posbank is (bot on my altimeter as well as on several maps) 110m. The Zijpenberg is 106m, the fire tower on the heatherfields on 104m. The Terlet-airfield is 107m at its highest point. For where it concerns the royal estate "Het Loo": you are not allowed outside the gravel paths between September 15 and December 25. But this is not because of the hunting season, but because of the mating season for deer. I've lived in the midst of these forests for over 15 years. Page improved very well over the years! | |

Hasn't voted | Well, for Dutch standards these are "mountains". In fact, the highest point in the Veluwe region is the highpoint or 11 out of 12 provinces in the Netherlands. Second, some of the trails in the area have gradients of 1 in 5, to me that qualifies as a "hill". Please learn a bit more about the region before you make any remarks like that. :-) | |

Hasn't voted | Well, in that case, there are plenty of places in the United States which are on SP, that have even less prominence than 300 ft. They should all be deleted as well. I just adopted this page, because it wasn't maintained for over 2 years, and the area is one of very few decent hiking area's in this country. The day that new rules will affect SP concerning prominence, and due to that, this area will have no right to be on SP anymore, i'll delete it pronto. But i would also think state or county highpoints that don't make this prominence should be deleted as well. | |
