Thanks Diego!

Books that I have are on Slovenian that is why I didn't mention them. Most important of them is certainly Julijske Alpe (Julian Alps, obviously :-) guide by Tine Mihelic. As you asked I've checked on UK Amazon and found there are books on English, like: Walks in the Julian Alps by Simon Brown. How good is it I don't know. There are also books and maps on German Amazon (if you speak German :-).

Cheers

No problem Velebit,

I don't speak a good german but don't worry, I have no intention of going there yet. However, I speak english better than german.

Danke

Bitte Diego :-) Anyway, till you decide to visit Julian Alps I think every peak will be covered on SummitPost and no book guide is good like this site is. It is just nice to have a book in hands. Imagine SummitPost encyclopedia printed, that would look awesome!

Just 12 votes so far on this outstanding page?

Very beautiful peak perfectly captured with your brilliant photography.

The Via Ferrata looks inviting and lures me to return to Slovenia :-)
