Nice to see a mountain thats less than 11,000 feet added in Colorado. It's kind of refreshing to see somthing thats away from the main bulk of the rockies. Nice Submission!

Thanks for your vote. I wasn't sure how this little mountain would be received so I'm glad you liked my submission. Greyrock Mountain and Horsetooth Mountain dominate the mountain horizon of Ft. Collins. If you've ever drunk Fat Tire beer you can see a picture of Horsetooth on the side of the six pack.

Anywho, if I get a couple more votes like yours I'll submit Horsetooth Mountain also.

Nice page. I somehow missed this during the two years that I lived in Ft. Collins - damn.

I forgot about this great mountain! I've climbed it twice. Very fun hike. The page is well done, and the history is a nice touch.

Looks like a neat peak. Would like to try the "Weenie" route with someone to guide me.

Will do. My wife and I were planning to go out west (at long last!) next year. But she fell and broke her arm, had surgery, and now will have to have surgery again to remove a section of bone in her forearm. So now we're not sure if we'll be able to go.

I'll leave the weenies for others. Don't care for them anyway.

Thanks for the vote. Greyrock is a fun little mountain and offers some really cool class-4 scrambling. It's probably not worth the drive up from Broomfield by itself, but if you're up in the Fort Collins area and have 4 hours or so to kill it's a nice little hike.
