Who'd o' thought--mountains in Oklahoma! Wow! I stumbled onto this great page, a very nice surprise! My dad lives in Bartlesville, grew up in Shawnee and he never mentioned mountains (granted this is a relative term here) in OK! Now I know where you prepared for the Needle! Very well done!

Thanks for the vote. I like your website. Climbing all the 14ers is a good goal. But you would think that by living in CO you could do more than 3 a year! If I lived there, I would do three a weekend! :) Have fun doing it and be safe.

Great page and I didn't even know Oklahoma had mountains. Actually I'm just kidding since I spent two years in Missouri in the Ozarks (Army time Ft Leonard Wood) Great presentation.

Great page. This mountain definitely doesn't look like Oklahoma as I pictured it!

Well done page about an important climbing area in Oklahoma. Just a bit extra: Kent Katon photo id # 47905 depicted atop the North Peak of Seneca developed some routes in the mid '80's at Mount Scott as well as the very long Autobahn West at Chandler Park.

Never heard of him, but that's very interesting. Here is a link to some Oklahoma rock climbing history.

Great page: How high is Mt. Scott from base to top? Does it rise over 1,000 feet?
