Voted 10/10 | edited 8:00 PM Hmm, this page is well written as a State Park attraction with a hiking route. Nice photos. I will add some rock climbing info for some of the routes I've done, and I think that will make it a nice well rounded page.

Hasn't voted | Thank you for your comment. Each one of us has his or her own perspective. My interest and focus in adding this page is in regard to hiking and the scenic beauty of Devil's Lake. You are certainly welcome to add rock climbing routes. In what ways do you think Joshua Tree differs from this page? If you have any specific suggestions about the format, please let me know.

Voted 10/10 | As stated in the text, I am indeed surprised this spot is in Wisconsin. A beautiful surprise! However, I'd bet it's the ONLY thing in Wisconsin! I like Martin's idea of submitting rock climbing routes. This will help validate the page for the die- hard climbers hungry for new beta on places and routes that visit SP ever more frequently. For hikers stuck in Dairyland USA, this one's a gem. As usual, the pics are beautiful. Love those greens! Nice job.

Voted 10/10 | Glad to see places like this on summit post, a mountain doesn't have to be 10000 feet high or more to have merit. Being from a similar altitudinally challenged area I can appreciate what a treasure this must be. Cheers.

Hasn't voted | Thanks. I like the term "Altitudinally Challenged"! Did I spell that right?

Voted 10/10 | I will definitely contribute as I get to know the park better. I may be going there this weekend, weather permitting. You ought to try it. I just started rock climbing earlier this year and have found it to be incredibly fun. Routes below 5.6 are really not difficult at all.

Voted 10/10 | This is a great page! It is necessary to cover this area which is very scenic in an unlikely place. Please add some of the peak names with their elevations.

Hasn't voted | Thank you for your consideration. Actually there are no "peaks" in the area. Like I mentioned, there are "bluffs" on three sides of the lake that rise to roughly 1450 ft (with the lake being 960 ft).

Voted 10/10 | Nice page. I went briefly to Wisconsin a couple of years ago. I drove over from St. Paul, crossed the St. Croix river and drove down south a ways. Wasn't too bad scenery wise. Although it was April and the trees still didn't have any leaves.

Hasn't voted | Thank you for your vote. Parts of Wisconsin are indeed beautiful. If you are a mountain lover, however, you always feel like there is something missing in the scenery.
