Voted 10/10 | Great page! Obviously a labor of love. Have you lived in the area or something? I have a snow MOuntain experience. We once planned to backpack up there in September. We drove in from the south (Clear Lake) on perhaps 30-50 miles of dirt FS roads. Diddn't see many people...until we got to the trailhead. Couldn't find a spot--it was huntin' season! The pickup next to us had about 30 empty shell casings, perhaps 20 beer cans, and an empty fifth of Jcak Daniels. Aw shucks, we forgot the food. Let's get the f*ck out of here. Camped instead at a cool, foggy KOA in FOrt Bragg and gorged on blackberries all evening. | |

Hasn't voted | I found out about Snow Mountain in the '100 Classic Hikes' book, and decided to check it out. By the time I'd decided to do the page, though it was apparent that it would be time-intensive, it was too late to turn back. It was a lot of fun going there and checking it out, anyway, though. Bummer that when I finally got up, the views sucked, but it was still worth it. I could see the area filled with hunters- the recreational users seem to be more 'diverse' than in the other mountainous areas I've seen in California. Do you plan on going back? Did any of the beer cans have anything left in them? | |

Voted 10/10 | Nice to see some northern coast range peaks represented. My wifes family is from Ukiah so I drive HWY 20 quite a bit through the coast range and have stopped and hiked a few of these unknown peaks. Pretty country for sure. | |
