Hasn't voted | Yep. We have been wanting to put up this mountain for about a year, but didn't want to do it 'till we had climber it ourselves and had 1st hand beta. Fortunately, noone snagged it first. Just got back from the climb last weekend, and as you mentioned, this is the start. We will for sure put up the route and will doctor up some of the pics to show the line on the standard route. By the end of our trip, we had started referred to this as "not so Little T". It is not an easy climb due to 7000+' of elevation and several 40+ degree slopes. Feel free to add beta, pics and sign the summit log if you have climbed Little T. | |

Voted 10/10 | Wow. Good page. I didn't even KNOW about this mountain until I saw some climbers posing in front of it from higher on Mt. Ranier. It's a very imposing peak! Guess it's huge neighbor steals all the thunder. Looks like a good candidate to climb one of these days. | |

Voted 9/10 | but I'd love to see an overview map of the approaches from the East and from Camp Muir. I might make one myself, add it to the page, and bump up the rating if its incorporated in the overview description (or if someone else does this first). :-D As I'm finishing up the CA 14ers, I've now got my eyes set on this peak as I'm going through the major volcanic Cascade summits. Hasn't voted | I would like to point out that on the SP site there is some confusion as to the exact location of Meany Crest. See the entry for Meany Crest. Most maps label the lower knob (7200ft) as Meany Crest, yet there are no bivy sites there! It is lower than the upper knob (7550ft) which is at the foot of Fryingpan Glacier. Perhaps when referring to the bivy site, SP should clarify that it is the upper knob, not the lower one. | |
