I climbed the SW route early June and it was perfect. There was just enough snow in the Symmetry Coulior to cruise right up without much effort other than gaining the elevation. The great part is glissading the whole way back down!
We caught the boat at 8:30am and landed were back at the cars at 5:00pm. The descent is super fast if there is enough snow to glissade. For a rack we took: 60m rope, ice ax, crampons, 8 slings, 2- #2 camalot, 1- #1, 1- #.1, 1- #.2, 1- #.3, 2- #.4, 1- #.5, 1- # .75. It was plenty of gear.
