Voted 10/10 | Looks like a pretty mellow area. I didn't realize that it was common to approach the Uintas from the north as well as the south. You had some pretty clear skies durring your trips. | |

Hasn't voted | Thanks. Head out there ometime as its beautiful. The Uintas are a big and wild range and most peaks can be approached from about every point on the compass. The only reason the skies are clear in my photos is because they were taken early in the morning. About every afternoon in the summer has thunderstoms, in fact on our day out on the trip when the pics were taken we had a good thunder-snow storm. It was August. | |
