Hasn't voted | rpc-Thanks for stopping by. You'v been pretty busy yourself, so for you to swing by here is an honor. I'll get around to your new work soon. Glad you like the mountain! It's certainly beautiful and different, huh?

Voted 10/10 | Aaron, the mountain looks great - excellent addition to SP. I wouldn't exactly consider my visit "an honor"......on the other hand, if the Pope or Tyra Banks or "someone like that :) " stopped by, that'd be a different story! rpc

Hasn't voted | Thanks, Nader. This is one you would certainly enjoy. Obscure and it has a very interesting route. BTW-be sure to check out the pictures recently installed on the Hagar Mountain page. Be sure to read the captions. :)

Voted 10/10 | I thought I knew everything about the San Juans but I had not really paid any attention to the area north of Ouray. I had not heard of Precipice. Nice pictures on Hagar. I see that you were enjoying the sun while I was soaking wet.

Voted 10/10 | Aaron, great page for a great mountain. What a route, short and sweet, just the way we like em. Also, your route description is better than a guide book.

Voted 10/10 | Great pictures for a great summit. Hopefully this will inspire others to make this climb. I did find some evidence of other climbers, a plastice buckle like from a backpack. But that was it. I don't even think we saw any footprints that I can remember. A great mountain for some solitude and amazing views and geology.

Voted 10/10 | Wow, what an amazing page. Really loved your series of photos. And I learned what a hoodoo is! Must be a distant relative of these guys. ;- ) Great route description. Hope Dunsinane Peak is your next entry. Some awesome shots of it in your pics. Do you know of any local ranger station numbers for mountain conditions? I usually make it to CO at least once a year and this one is now on my list of hopefuls. Had a plane ticket to come out this year but had to cancel. Definitely want to visit next summer. Thanks for a great page!

Hasn't voted | Brian- Nice to hear from you. Ellen was wondering how you passed me up on the members list. I told her you've been a very busy boy... I'll get the link for the Uncomahgre National forest up on the page. Check back next week. I'm impressed you want to leave your enchanted Oregon to climb Precipice. I suppose it has much in common with the peaks you have climbed, only not as long and challenging. But you'll certainly be enchanted and inspired. Let me know when you get this done. I look forward to your thoughts and impressions. Thanks for your vote and kind comments.

Voted 10/10 | Looks like you passed me right back. You've been withholding on us! ;- ) I love mountains from all over. My brother lives in Denver though so I try to plan a trip each year to visit. It's always nice to go from sea level to 14,000 ft and feel what it's like to have collapsed lungs. : -) Take care. I look forward to your next submission.

Voted 10/10 | Nice one. I remember a picture you put up last year (from Courthouse?) that showed this peak. I thought to myself, "Now that's a worthy objective." The job just became a whole lot easier thanks to you.
