Great page. Beckwith, where have I heard of that name? Ironic. Hey, I remember a shitload of trashy kids riding their ATV's in the area, it made me sick. That area is really unique, so having to look at all those dirtbike trails was tough. I used to drive by Garfield all the time on the way to Moab for biking. I had no idea what the name of it was until your page.

I have seen these mountains each time I flew into or drove through Grand Junction. With their cliffs and steep barren slopes, they have always intrigued me. Thanks for adding.

Andy-nice job! The history and winery stuff are what makes this mountain unique, along with the fact that this is more akin to desert hiking and climbing. Thanks for this submission.
