Have indeed some good pics of Pobeda, but at the moment my problem is uploading, (not to great internet connection here), besides that I will be off with a bunch of 13 mountain walkers for the next 3 weeks. After that I will have a thorough look into putting some pictures in the Pobeda page and my other moutain pages. Thanks for the vote anyway, democracies don"t work without them!

Misha, In September you voted 3 stars on Pobeda page as by that moment there were no photographs on the page. By now the page has a full set of it, so you might want to consider upgrading your vote. Thanks beforehand.

There is a small article on some folks who made the ascent in a National Geographic about 15 years ago.

Thanks again Tim. When I find the time I will update this page with a lot of new material: Flying into central Asia the cheapest way, good hotelstays in the cities and above all routes: 10 have been opened on Pobedy and even if I have not climbed them, with help of Russian friends I can put some solid information together.

Thanks again for the vote! I have a great many pages to maintain, and quite a busy life, so I cannot always make the adjustments on SP like I wanted to. But you can be sure that in the future more route pages will be added to peak Pobeda.
