Voted 10/10 | Great page with lots of exciting stories... What Tomek once mentioned: On 2 July 1939 Nanda Devi East was first climbed via south ridge by Jakub Bujak and Janusz Klarner. The other expedition members, Adam Karpiński and Stefan Bernadzikiewicz, attempted to climb the nearby Tirsuli (7161 m) but died in an avalanche on 18 or 19 July. cheers, kamil | |
