Voted 10/10 | Well, not that this high point is a real attractive point of interest, but nice job. Looks like you were there at night, which was when I was there. In fact, I spent the night in my car next to the monument. I needed a place to car camp and that seemed the best option. I left early enough in the morning to be sure to leave before the owner of the land caught me not paying the $5. A suitable fee, I suppose; but I was a bit miffed that the entry way sign was not in good condition, making me wonder where all that money he collects goes. To pay for the buffalo fund? Bah. The one and only time I've seen a badger was when I was driving up the approach path. Darned badger thought he'd take on my car. Twice he stopped to face it up. Silly badger. | |
