I always enjoy reading your pages. They are structured well, are informative, and the writing is great. In the words of Charles Montgomery Burns...........Excellent.

Is this near the big mesa? I forget what the mesa was called but it is North of Black Canyon.

Thanks for the nice vote. So, do you think you might head back to the West Elks or the Raggeds next season? I am planning ascents of Mount Gunnison, East Beckwith, Chair Mountain, Treasure Mountain and maybe Marcellina Mountain. Let me know if your headed our way.

Thanks Kane. I am hoping to get out there in the fall. It would be great to meet up with the Rocky Mtn. SPers. Drop a line if you are headed out this way too.

Quite an excellent page! Much better photography than most Colordado pages. Kudos. As a former Colorado resident, I failed to visit this range, maybe when I return to Colorado, I will pay them a visit.

Since I'll be working in Gunnison this summer, I'm sure I'll get over to visit the West Elks.

Great page Kane... we were out in CB / Kebler Pass this weekend checking out the fall colors and I got out for a great climb of this peak. Thanks for posting this gem! I'll post some photos after I wade thru the 1000 or so aspen shots :-)

Hi Chris, thanks for the vote. It's been a while since this page got a vote. I'll be headed out there on Tuesday and staying in the area for 4 days. I'll be attempting Mount Gunnison, Mount Guero, Sheep Mountain and Gothic Mountain. Do you think I'll be late to the show?

Hey Kane,

No, you won't be late. It's about peak right now (seems to be running a week or so behind last year), but there are still a few groves that are green. The cold front that's supposed to blow through Tues/Wed may knock some of the good stuff down though...

Have a great trip!
