Cool mountain! Love the pinnacles. Didn't know Colorado had anything like this. Wish you had some more route info though. Is it a trail? Scramble? How long? Elevation gain? Also, you need to put a negative sign in front of your latitude. Otherwise, your topo map shows it somewhere in China. ;- )

The contrast between the lush green grasses and the earth tones of the breccia is spectacular! Love the Castles pictures, of course!

Great report and photos for a beautiful and seldom seen area. Wonderful! 18 miles! Yikes! My ol' feet say no to that notion. How long is the walk to the Castles?
