Miscellaneous Info: On August 2, 1947, a British Lancaster Bomber(Civilian Version)
crashed somewhere in the Andes while on approach to Santiago. The remains
of the plane were not found until 1998 on Tupungato by climbers.

Pedro, I think you mistakenly entered Tupungato's coordinates as degrees.minutes instead of degrees.decimaldegrees. Note that SummitPost displays the coordinates in the latter format. The coordinates -33.22, -69.47 are incorrect, but -33deg22min, -69deg47min converts to -33.37, -69.78, which is about right.

IMHO the correct coordinates are
33,3577 S; 69,7638 W (took them from google earth)
