
Voted 10/10 | Nice page for a peak with a very nice summit block. Thanks for adding this--I would never have thought to head out here otherwise. BTW, I noted more precise mileages for the drive: The power line road turnoff is located 38.8 mi north of the Hwy 446 junction. The south ridge route shown on your map is accessed by driving 4.2 miles on this good dirt road.
P.S. Is there a summit register on this peak? I found a small cairn, but didn't spot one--but then every other peak I climbed in this area this weekend had one. I'm guessing I just didn't look carefully enough... pretty funny to see your/Barry's entry in the Purgatory register. It looked a lot like mine.
