Congratulations with this good page, very happy that finally somebody put this magnificent mountain on summitpost. For some times I have been asking on the site for support to step up the number of Asian mountain entries and it seems I got some! Keep up the good work.

Excellent writing! Very well done. Here are a few ideas that would make it even better.

1. Revise the red tape section, as I've posted.

2. Make photo #61124 also the signiature shot.

3. Add some basic info on the normal route.

4. Change the name of the peak to "Gasherbrum 1". You already indicated the other names for it in the first paragraph.

5. Add it to the 8,000 meter group page, as suggested below.

Great Job

Have you thought about Gasherbrum 2 ? it is a 8,000 M peak also and the only 8,000 M peak not in summit Post Very Good Job

	Hasn't voted	Apologies for the delayed reply. Just got back from up north. Thanks for the vote. I have quite a bit of info on the entire Gasherbrum System including G1, G2, G3 and G4 but i have been close to G1 only. I suppose its just fair enough for someone to spend a few days around the mountain (if not up) before one can attempt to describe the splendor of these mountains. I have been to G1 base camp only...YET. I am planning a trip to Concordia next season. Hopefully I'll have a page on G2 then. Regards
