I've enjoyed the ID peak pages you've added - inspires me to go back to Idaho in the early summer (also the fact that I think ID gets more stable weather earlier in the season than the Pacific NW). What do you think is the "normal" weather in the Sawtooths say around Memorial Day - good chance of catching clear skies? PNW usually sucks on that weekend weatherwise :( Thanks! Radek | |

Hasn't voted | The weather is awesome that time of year . . . as a whole I have found the winters to be kind of gray, the summer's to be too hot but the fall and spring are great. If I had to estimate I would say below freezing at night, but 70's during the day (Especially the Sawtooth's) You will still encounter considerable snow from about 8,000 up, but the trailheads are usually in great shape. Memorial day I am going to Colorado, but if it is another time, let me know. On another note, if you need to get that info for the Sawtooth's (from that old website) shoot me a email nicstover@yahoo.com and I will ask Sean next time we go climbing. | |
