Voted 10/10 | Very nice. I wish I could have seen more of Maine when I was up there at the end of June. I headed northwest at Portland and drove up into and through the White Mountains of NH. One thing I did notice about Maine was you couldn't drive very fast out in the country. Lots of houses along the roads and plenty of slow traffic. I am used to being able to cruise on down the back roads without hinderance in Texas.

Voted 10/10 | I should be on El Cap in a couple of weeks if things work out. If you haven't been out there lately, I posted a new sig photo from a friend that was just out there. El Cap is the only mountain I have posted that I have not climbed, although I have attempted it but got lost in dense fog. This time I plan on bagging it and a remote unnamed peak in the middle of the park.

Hasn't voted | Good deal-I initially thought you were talking about 32 pitches of the nose but Guadalupe it is. I'll be looking for it.

Hasn't voted | Its a good place to make plans for. My Parents did it for 46 years-and carried the plans out. Thanks for checking things out. There is a cliff at the bottom of the North slide which is particularly dangerous on descent.

Hasn't voted | Thanks for checking it out and giving your vote. My small daughter and son were prudently stopped by my 15 year old brother in law at the brow of the bottom cliff-that was kinda close for a family outing. I linked a picture of this cllff to the page.

Voted 10/10 | This is one of the more curious names I've seen for a peak. The origin of the name you mention is interesting as well. Nice page!

Hasn't voted | Thanks for checking it out. Apparently some folks use it for beginiing alpine work in the winter. I thought the landslides might avalanche but the wind scours it quite a bit.. Looks like you will be climbing out in Red Rocks some this winter.

Hasn't voted | Thanks for your good vote. This mountain is tougher to climb than it looks.
