Great page Aaron.

I enjoyed the shots of the alpine flowers (so that's what these things [Indian Paintbrush] are?!! --> educational for me).

rpc-Thanks for the vote. The paintbrush get pretty big in Colorado, particularly if the rains are good. Some flowers are almost the size of my fist.

Grant-you'd like this area as a warm up or snow hike.

Nice page Aaron. Looks like a nice place to visit in spring. I've always wondered about a drive over Shrine Pass. Is this mountain in the Gore Range or the Sawatch? I thought it was the Sawatch until Barry mentioned the Gores.

Kane, I personally consider the area neither the Gores or the Sawatch, but the popular opinion is the area is in the Gores and so I categorized the mountain accordingly on SP. This is similar to my opinion that the Culebras are their own range, seperate from the Sangres proper, starting from Blanca and going north. But I'm in the minority on that one, too. I also believe that James Peak and points south are just Front Range summits rather than Indian Peaks summits. Whatever!

Thanks for the vote and comments!
