If anyone would wish to approach with a human touch this mountain and the inner Provence region, there is a compulsory cultural travel to be made through Jean Giono (Manosque, 1895-1970) many books. He was a son of this land and perhaps its best literary symbol. Mind to this : the Mediterranean shore has nothing to do with Provence, it is another world......
