Excellent route info. Its only my opinion that your Overview is pretty skimpy. I would recommend a big summery on the Gore Range; nobody knows anything on the Gores. You have a good page so far, so take your time and bulk up that Overview and sell that mountain to us.

I know a little bit about the Gores. :-) I have climbed in the northern and the southern portions of this wilderness. I plan on adding an East Thorn page soon. I hesitated because I didn't think I had a good enough photos, but Jon Bradford says he has some good ones of East Thorn from Rain Peak. If you get up to Silverthorne, please take a picture for me. You have to drive north on Highway 9 from 3 or 4 miles to get a good shot, but when you see it, the mountain is unmistakeable. It looks like a thorn and is very rugged and cool looking.

Great page! I do, however, agree with Kane, that a little more info in the Overview section would add a lot.

Good routes, approaches and camping info on a northern Gore Range peak. Popular photo home too.

Hmmm, I just noticed this Gore Range peak. Thanks for adding. I may have a picture to go along with this page. I am sending them to Aaron to see if I do have one. He knows the peak from Powell and my picture from Peak C may be close enough for him to identify.
