Looks like a mellow 8000 foot mtn. Good ferrata description and several lakes which look as though they have trout.

Thanks Mark! I'm not sure about the trout but maybe you are right.

I would like to ask a favour from you: I'm not sure if you remember the page of Capo d'Orto in Corsica, the one with the strange rock structures. Scott Patterson posted similar structures in Gem Canyon and I have finally found out how they are created. I included a section in the Capo d'Orto page but am not quite sure if my English makes sense. Could you have a look over the section and let me know?

here it is

Thanks in advance

Nice mountain and description of it. It was unknown to me so far, but I was close to it when we reached Cima Serodoli. Gangolf, will you add Serodoli too? Giro di 5 laghi is also nice with all those lakes.

Thanks Vid. No I'm afraid I won't post Serodoli. I haven't been there. Maybe a route for the 5 Laghi would be ok but I'm not sure about it. My pictures aren't good (we had snowstorms in August (right after the HOT summer last year)) and the tour is so crowded. It takes the fun away. I'll think about it however.

I prefer to post SOSAT instead.

Happy Easter

And it's a great climbing area, too. Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks Claude! I'm still struggling with the panorama technique on Mt. Colmet. Somehow nothing wants to fit anymore :-(
