Hasn't voted | Thanks Vid! I think the border between hiking and climbing is a floating one :-) . I wouldn't recommend this peak for a hiker who never touched rock before with his hands. So I would argue, you ARE a climber, but it depends on the viewpoint. I intended to create a Gesäuse GROUP page also, but unfortunately my time doesn't allow this yet. Even Roßkuppe was made by accident, while I was waiting for the Easter-bunny :-) . Cheers, Herbert | |

Voted 10/10 | He, he, you didn't do it by accident, I know! You're passionate about this nice region. You don't have time for SP? I know that. I'll give you the same answer as to Andrzej Gibasiewitz. It's very relative and it's a matter of your priorities. If I'm a climber or not - no, definitely not. I went many times with the best Slovenian climbers and Himalayans. No problem on a ordinary tour. But I allways knew the line. Running up on Grossglockner and skiing down. No problem. But climbing above IV degree - it's a whole universe between me and that. Cheers! P.S.: Do a Gesaeuse group page. It's fun. See how the Dolomites group pages look now. And Julian Alps. | |
