Voted 10/10 | Wish I was there..... No summit but nevertheless an excellent page. Ther'll be discussions, however :-) Gangolf

Voted 10/10 | Thanks for posting Dinosaur Lake. Although not a mountain there should be a special place on SP for pages like this. Linking together similar pages is a good beginning. Hopefully there will be an own section where natural wonders like Dinosaur Lake but also, canyons, waterfalls, caves, arches which are an integral part of mountains get their proper place.

Hasn't voted | Agreed! I hope to be ifluential in getting a special section started in the near future. There are many spectacular places in our world that certainly deserve a place on SP, and SP will be better for it. Thanks for the vote.

Hasn't voted | Thanks Alan. It was a nice diversion, but it's back to the mountains, now. Be sure to look at my reply to Kane and Ellen. Yes. You can be my sweetheart, too!

Voted 10/10 | Get ready for battle!!! I'm on your side, mostly because its you submitting the page. These types of pages need to be very thorough, packed full of good informative text, otherwise I might not be voting four stars. Voting four on this one was easy considering how much time and effort was spent. Nice!

Hasn't voted | No nasty notes yet, Kane! Maybe it's because of my "ivory tower" status here at SP. Actually, I'm prepared for lots of criticism if it happens to come my way. Let it come. I plan not to respond to anyone in particular. My stock response is: A selection of such pages is a worthwhile endeavor for SP. It brings flavor and variety (if written with credibility) to SP, and it's in SP's best interests to have a selection of "other" destinations. I still feel your Moorea page is brilliant and a real inspiration toward this line of thinking. SP is the on-line authority for mountain climbing beta (IMO). It can certainly be that to a certain degree on other unique spots throughout the world IF it involves hiking or a type of climbing, which all of the pages I have linked to are. Folks who don't like it can complain all they like. Unless Josh says NOT, then these pages will continue, and they will make SP much more special than the run-of-the-mill climbing sites (imitators) that continue to pop up. Thanks for the vote and chiming in.

Voted 10/10 | Very interesting, but keep in mind, that according to the President, Dinosaurs did not exist because God made the world in 7 days, and God put their prints there just to mess with our heads and test our faith. I hope this page may let him see different.

Hasn't voted | Charles-I've watched your activity on SP and I was guessing you might like just about anything. Thanks for the vote and being such a great contributor to SP so early in your "tenure."

Voted 10/10 | Hmmm, I'm not entirely sure what that means, but thanks, I guess ;-) It's been a good ride so far. Unfortunately, I've now run out of photos and haven't been out enough lately for new ones. There are a couple mountains I'd like to post as soon as I've done some field research. First and foremost: Dinosaur Mountain here in Boulder. I also notice that there are a lot of NH mountains with no information. Unfortunately, I don't have photos of many of them and feel strange about an entirely text-based summit. Charles

Hasn't voted | HiCharles: You're right on your hunch about text only pages. Photos are important. Since you've run out, you'll just have to go out and get some more! Damn the luck! I watch new faces when they pop up on SP, because that's what keeps SP alive and fresh. New blood into the brew! Welcome to SP and I look forward to your participation. Have fun!

Voted 10/10 | Nice page. How long did it take you with your fake dinosaur foot to squish the prints in the mud? :-)

Hasn't voted | Actually, I'M the dinosaur that made those prints (but don't tell anyone-as far as some selected SPers areconcerned, I'm just an old hippie sitting on my ivory tower)!
