Voted 5/10 | I hate not to give you 4 stars (you have some other nice pages), but the page needs a bit more info. I am sure you could find out about the fees to the state park and some more information on camping on-line by going to their state park page. If there is not enough information, you could call them. I have called many times for information on my pages. You could also post their phone numbers on the Red Tape section. Fix that and I'll bump up my vote. Have you climbed the peak? If so, please sign the summit log. It would also be nice if you could at least submit a route page unless the route is so simple a route page wouldn't be necessary. For those of us not familiar with Maine, more detailed directions to this place would be nice. SummitPost pages are nice because they usually are a one stop page with all the necessary information necessary to climb a peak. For instance, your weather section just says check the weather for Camden. Sure, anyone can go check it but why not put the forecast right on the page or at least provide a link. www.timetemperature.com will give you all the necessary html to post the current information on your page. Or at least you could provide a link. It might also be necessary to get permission to use the photo on the Camden State Park page. Even if they do give you permission, it would be more appropriate to display the photo from their site rather than making a copy of it and uploading it to SummitPost.

Hasn't voted | Yes, I concur that it's kind of a weak page. Just wanted to get it started. My biggest problem on the trip was that it just seemed to rain and rain or just get socked in with thick fog. I only got two photos from Mount Battie that didn't come out as white cotton.

Voted 5/10 | It's not really the pictures. Some pages on SummitPost don't have too many pictures but are loaded with information. I don't think the page needs a lot more info, just some basics like what the fee is at the campground and some other info.

Hasn't voted | For some reason, the information I needed about the park was at a website (Maine.gov) that kept locking up. I'll get that stuff on there.

Voted 8/10 | I agree with attm, you have some more to add to make this page complete. Is it near the Atlantic?

Hasn't voted | Yeah. The base of the mountain is in the ocean. It rises right up out of the sea. I wanted to get a good shot of that, but the rain and fog just screwed it up. Trying to get some other photos from relatives who live up there.

Voted 8/10 | It is a start. Some links and more images of this east coast mountain would help. Being near the coast I see your trip was fogged or clouded in. Hopefully the next one will provide you with better views. I will check back later and up my vote. Cheers William

Hasn't voted | Thanks! Do you have some good photos to add? The weather just would not cooperate when we were there. I have only those two photos to show for the whole day spent there.

Voted 10/10 | Been by a few times, but the kids never wanted to stop. Now I have a bit of a reason. That and Mt. Megunticook.

Hasn't voted | Our plan that day was to hike up to Megunticook (at 1385 feet, it rivals the big hills there in Acadia). But the weather sucked so bad, and we were so tired of hiking in the rain, that we didn't go.
