Voted 7/10 | Battie and Megunticook certainly dont rival the "hills" of Acadia in my opinion, as a mainer, and in fact Cadillac Mountain is the Highest Point on the East coast and is much larger than both Battie and Megunticook. And more impressive..Being that battie is around 800ft, Megunticook 1380ft; Cadillac is 1,532ft. Having climbed them both several times(battie-megunticook) i dont think either mountain is grand by any degree...But certainly still a worth while hike. Also most of the mountains inside of Acadia are larger than Megunticook and Battie...just figured you should know considering | |
