Again a nice page! Do you have a contract with the Sardinian tourist office?

They call me the inofficial STB - Sardinian Tourist Board ;-)

But after all it's drawing to a close :-(

Thanks

If I have understood correctly, at this point the King of Sardegna is going to abdicate since he has terminated his task.

Gangolf reminds me Guido Riccio da Fogliano in the painting by Simone Martini : http://www.comune.siena.it/museocivico/museocivico/mappamondo/mappamondo2.html

But perhaps he is going to pick out a northerner and colder Queen...

Abdicate? Why? The campaign is still running and there needs to be someone to maintain these 27 pages ....

Thanks for the vote and the corrections (I see them yet cannot download them from the server)

I see, abdicate wasn' t the right word: I meant only that Gangolf was going to finish his campaign, just like Guido Riccio da Fogliano in the painting.

Thanks for the lesson about "Guido". I have seen copies of this before and never bothered with the title or the artist-merely guessed incorrectly that it was circa 1450.

I liked the trip up from the cove to the window. Looks like bandit country. Lizard reminds me of the Geico Insurance mascot- a gecko who makes frequent TV appearances
