Great page. It is funny how Iceland can be green but there is nothing green in Greenland. I heard the Vikings made up these names to keep the green pastures of Iceland to themselves and lure others into Greenland.

I heard that too. I did not see any green in Greenland flying over it but it sure looked impressive with huge glaciers and big brown peaks.
