Hasn't voted | Thank you for the good vote. ....tried this much more exciting summit day before in Sawtooths of Idaho called "Finger of Fate" with this beautiful route up it (III, 5.8)......but for the first time got "crowded off". A party ahead of us took 3+ hours to complete the 1st 2 pitches of a 7P route (those were not crux pitches either). | |

Hasn't voted | Thanks Brian. This is a pretty trivial one but a fun 1/2 day hike nevertheless. Yeah, the weather sucked!! This was actually a side trip after a failed attempt (due to overcrowding/slow parties) on Saturday to bag Finger Of Fate in Sawtooths of Idaho (weather was perfect then and there). I hear you - I too was expecting perfect weather at LEAST till end of September.....what the hell is this??? | |
