Ryan,

This is a great mountain page. Your photographs are beautiful. They bring on a feirce case of Sangre-longing... Thanks for sharing. From the looks of you photographs Fluted Peak might have some of the most apealing aspects of Comanche Peak and Eureka Mountain wrapped in its own distinct package.

I do love the beautiful rock strata in this area of the Sangres. Mixed with the gentle slopes and grasses, these peaks captivate me.

An excellent page and some great shots make one think "I wish I were there." Thanks for posting!

One small detail from the nit-picker: the red marker in the Topozone map should fall closer to the target if you kept four decimal places instrad of three in converting the coordinates to decimal format.

Thanks for catching that, Brent. The TopoZone link is right on the money now!

I try to keep the image sizes low, only 200 KB between the two pictures featured on the page. (if it makes you feel better, I'm on 28.8 at home!)

Great job. I've been intrigued by this peak since seeing some shots of it a while back. Your treatment has increased my interest.
