Its about time someone added this one. I haven't climbed it yet, but have viewed it several times and from several places. It looks like an awesome peak.

Well, it's high time this mountain made it to SP. I will one day visit this lovely area. Looks like it gets a lot of wind, and obviously it does given the recent history. Looks like you had a good day. Thanks for giving Zirkel a presence on SP.

Jim,

Ah I am sorry I missed the chance to go with you to this mountain. Excellent page with beautiful pictures. I thought there would have been more snow (I was on the north slopes of Ute Peak that weeend and was suprised to be trudging through three foot drifts). Anyway you photos have inspired me. Would you interested in Big Agnes next summer?

Thanks Jon. I was expecting more snow as well. I'm glad I got there when I did. The last 150 feet to the top would be spooky with another two feet of snow. As for Big Agnes, I'd be game for sure. Check your maps and see if you can spot a route up Pt. 11,911 to the north of Big Agnes. That one's the masterpiece of the area.

I just saw Nelson's Big Agnes page and followed it to yours. Awesome area. I don't know anything about it but need to check it out.
