I thought there would have been more snow (I was on the north slopes of Ute Peak that weeend and was suprised to be trudging through three foot drifts). Anyway you photos have inspired me. Would you interested in Big Agnes next summer? Jon | |

Hasn't voted | Thanks Jon. I was expecting more snow as well. I'm glad I got there when I did. The last 150 feet to the top would be spooky with another two feet of snow. As for Big Agnes, I'd be game for sure. Check your maps and see if you can spot a route up Pt. 11,911 to the north of Big Agnes. That one's the masterpiece of the area. | |
