Good page. When I was a youngster, I went to Hidden Lakes quite a few times. We also went to nearby Cascade Pass, and it was a favorite. This was all before I was into climbing, so I haven't climbed to the summits.

	Hasn't voted	Yes, this is a good peak for you and your running ways. You could probably run up it in 90 minutes if it's trail all the way. Take a camera if it's a nice day!

Well I never heard of this Peaks (is that correct English in this case?), so I didn't miss it here at SP. But I'm glad you posted! Very nice mountain and page.

	Hasn't voted	Good question on the proper grammar. There are two summits but really only one "peak" yet the massif is called Hidden Lake Peaks. When I reference the mountain for pictures of distant peaks, I have been using the singular because it doesn't make as much sense to say, "Johannesburg Mountain from Hidden Lake Peaks." How can the picture have been taken from more than one place at a time? Whatever, right?

Another winner, Paul. Well done. I've run the ridge from Sibley Pass to the Lookout several times over the years, and it never disappoints. Hard to go wrong in that area, eh?

	Hasn't voted	I've thought about the Cascade Pass Area group thing, but I'm not always big on creating groups for the sake of groups. In the case of the Cascade Pass group, it is unclear just where the dividing line would be between peaks that should be added and those that shouldn't. Groups for Wilderness areas or areas with clearly set boundaries are easier to justify because it is easy to determine what goes in the group and what doesn't.

Q: Since you say the area is avalanche prone, is there something like an avalanche bulletin somewhere in the web? I didn't find anything in the weather links.
