Hi Scott, Thought you should know that having quotations leading off your "North Cleve";Peak 12,127;"West Clover" mountain submit, ranks your page ahead of the pages starting with the letter A in the "mountains" link. Click on Mountains and your page will rank #1. SP doesn't recognize quotations, so by default the program places them ahead of everything else. Some of the SP contingent feel that quotations unfairly ranks mountains, thus these pages receive far more traffic than others.

I should know, I was thrown to the wolves when I submitted my "Catamount" page and recieved an additional 20-30 hits a day. I later changed it to UN 11,695 "Catamount."

Hi, Kane.

I noticed the problem after I submitted the page, and attempted a few solutions, but couldn't come up with one. Perhaps I can ask the SP staff to manual put the peak in alphabetical order? Maybe you can give me some more advice based on what I tried below. I made several attempts to fix it when the page was submitted.

Here are some of the things I tried and why they didn't work:

I submitted three peaks to the same page, because they were all un-named and submitting three pages for a un-named peaks sharing many duplicate routes seemed like over-kill. Many of the routes would have just been simple cut and paste from on to the other. Same with photos.

The problem with calling the peak UN 12,514, "North Cleve", etc. is that what I have now is the max amount of characters allowed in the page title. That's why there are no spaces between the semi-colons; because it cuts off part of the names.

I also thought of calling the peaks Peak 12,514, etc, but there is more than one peak in the Uintas with the same elevations.

I also thought of Cleve BM, Colver BM, and Peak 12,127. ( BM=benchmark, but you know this). Problem: Neither Benchmark is on the highest point. Observe map: Map.

Any ideas on how to correct the problem? I could eliminate the quotations and call the peaks simple North Cleve and West Clover with no quotations, even though they were un-named. Do you think this is a solution for an un-named peak(s)?

Good page, Scott! I suppose the trout in the lakes are natural. What I mean is - here in Europe most fish get put into the lakes by the gusy who later again fish them out. The concept seems strange but otherwise w wouldn''t have any fish in any lake.

You're just cranking out Utah peaks lately :) Good work....

There are several typos on the page - you might run a spell check when you have time.

Thanks for the vote. I think I got the typos on the front page. I'll check the route pages as soon as I have time.
