Hasn't voted | Thanks Klaus, very much!! I took me 2 days to write it but needed 6 months to get started :-) I used to be more productive but I'm kind of saturated with writing so I'm making pages less frequently.

Hasn't voted | Thanks Vid very much!! I knew I would love Durmitor since I was, I don't know, probably 10 years old. Already then I’ve been fascinated with the photos I was seeing in the books. I was about to go there when I had 14 years, in 1990. Trip was already paid but then problems inside the ex YU began and trip was canceled. I waited another 14 years to finally meet the mountain I knew so well and loved on distance for such a long time. And it was love at first sight :-) Wow, sounds like a love story over the internet hahaha but it is true :-) You have to go there Vid, Durmitor is paradise! I think you’ve seen enough of the Alps, now it’s time to head south :-)

Hasn't voted | Thank you Mr. Klenke!! :-) Imagine beauties of 'Vid's and Bor's' Julian and Kamnik Alps and rest of Slovenia, 'mine' Velebit and rest of Croatia, fantastic Bosnia Herzegovina, Monte Negro, Macedonia and Serbia all together in one country. Yugoslavia was easily the most beautiful European country! But even now when it has fallen apart all the independent countries are still individually very beautiful. Yugoslavia no longer exists. Durmitor is in Monte Negro and it is in federation with Serbia. These two countries continued to use the name Yugoslavia till few years ago. Union is now called Serbia & Monte Negro. In Site Feedback I mentioned to moderators six months ago that they should change Yugoslavia to Serbia & Monte Negro but there was no reaction. Don't know if that is too complicated (I doubt) or they thought I was lying :-)

Voted 10/10 | I think the elfin moderation is a lot more responsive now than it was six months ago. Send out the request again in a new thread. I'll back you up. I see that there are very few "Yugoslavia" peaks on SP. Strange considering how beautiful the terrain is.

Hasn't voted | I'll try again Paul with the name change. It seams no one from Serbia or Monte Negro, enthusiastic enough to make pages, found SP yet. I hope someone will, especially from Monte Negro. It is amazing country, most mountainous in Europe, 95% of the territory are mountains! And not just some average looking mountains but very beautiful, not to say spectacular.
