Wecome to SP! It's a very good and important addition to SP. One suggestion: make the links to the huts active (see faq #8to see how it is done).

Looks like a pretty cool granite mountain. I've been voting on the pictures as they have come in and they look interesting.

Great that you have added this important mountain! Nicely covered with text, photos, routes - a perfect start. Good luck with maintaining the page and start thinking which mountain comes next.

We don't have much of them! To prove you: From this page you can see, that between Brenta, Ortles and Val Masino Alps (which all have systematic group pages and good coverage further down to distinct summits) only some separate peaks are represented on SummitPost. Visit for example the Dolomites to see what I mean with a good structure.

Ciao!

Great page with good pictures and valuable route descriptions about a very important mountain. Thank you

I am not a native English speaker but I notice some language errors (for example: White War should be World War). There are some experienced "translaters" at the Italian team that may have a look at the page and the picture captions.

What can I contribute to your great page:

-I know the mountain with the nice title "South Pole of the Eastern Alps", perhaps this is worth mentioning

-First ascent: my source tells: Taylor and Montgomery on August 8th 1865

-Map: I have Tabacco 1:50000 Nr. 10, Dolomiti di Brenta, Adamello, Presanella. Are there even better ones?

Nice would be an overview about all possible routes to the summit.

White war was this terrible part of WWI between Austrians and Italians at Italy-South Tyrol border. It was named "White" because that was in snow and ice on high mountains.

I second Mathias's suggestion that you seek help for the translation of some technical terms. For instance, when you say "staff" you probably mean "fixed gear." (Staff in the sense of support or protection is only used metaphorically, as in "il bastone della mia vecchiaia.")

Thank you. I will consider your precious suggestion!
