Hasn't voted | Excellent page with lots of good info. Valuable page, because under-acclimatization is a big problem on Aconcagua and people should do smaller peaks first to acclimatize. Interesting about the big fines for pets. I have heard quite a few times that dogs have made it high on nearby Aconcagua.

Voted 10/10 | Page looks good, it looks like (on my computer, at least) you've got the red x of death appearing twice in one of your top sections though.

Voted 10/10 | The page looks good except for 2 things. Why not link to a SummitPost picture you uploaded instead of PaintedOver.com on the first section? I as well as others are getting the redx of death. You can make the pics from SummitPost as large as you want on the front page by adding html tags. Second, 3DFlags is unreliable. I used to use them on my pages but had to quit after I kept getting too many RedX of deaths. They also changed the URL address on me which affected many of my pages. Too much work to trust them.

Hasn't voted | Thanks for letting me know you are having troubles viewing the pics - when I checked out the main page myself everything looked fine. Nevertheless, I would like to know how you can use the pictures directly from summitpost. I guess I am a bit ignorant when it comes to html. Could you provide me with a html example of exactly how you can insert a picture of "any size" directly from the site itself? I will happily update my pages accordingly. Much appreciated Brice

Voted 10/10 | Brice, Here would be how you enter it in in edit mode. This will display the picture and allow a viewer to click on it so they can vote. The reason why some are getting the redx of death is probably bandwidth issues with the site that is hosting the picture. On heavy traffic days some will get the redx of death. As long as the pic is hosted on SummitPost no one should have any problems. (div align="center")(a href="http://www.summitpost.org/mountains/photo_link.pl/p/photo_id__137582__object_id__4419__type__mountain__mountain_id__4419__route_id____user_id____order_by____limit__")(img src="http://www.summitpost.org/images/137582.JPG"border="2" height=438 width=600)(/a)(/div) Replace all of ( with < and all of ) with > in the above html. If you don't want a border around it, you can change the border= to 0 or raise the # for a larger border. This will display the picture in its SummitPost size. If you want to make it larger or smaller you would insert after border="0"Height=450 width=600 or whatever size works for you.

Hasn't voted | I've gone ahead and updated the Cerro Rico page. I'll need to go through the rest of my pages and do the same when I get a bit of time. Thanks for your help. Brice
