Good first page. We need more Kamchatka pages. It is high on my list. There isn't too much info available, so any info added to SP is especially valuable.

Hi Janne,

yes, it took a while. I was browsing the summitpost.org recently quite a bit and thought it would be nice to contribute.



I saw your addition of a number of Tibetan mountains and some of the Caucaus - nice stuff, too.



Actually, I read your trip report Aconcagua, and it reminded me of a very similar situation (while not as 'dangerous') we had during a 12-day hike in Kamchakta in 2002. Not an easy situation.
