That tourist route, marked blue... do you think I can bring a 11 year old on that one? It sounds as it isn't too difficult?

Yes of course ,it's mainly a nice mountain walk without any difficulties besides last metres in the summit dome (slippery rocks ,a bit exposed but secured with chains) . It's very popular trail ,very often horribly overcrowded (high summer season) ,people go there with children ,I don't think You and Your Son would have any problems there ,watch out for the weather in the summertime ,Giewont is a really dangerous trap by thunderstorm ! Great descent by the red route to Strazyska and Zakopane ...

You plan to visit Tatras Lolli ? :-)

Cheers

Yes, I'd really like too, have wanted it for years, and now I want to bring along my daughters ;-)

It seems as the Tatras could be an lovely place to go with them and a peak they can manage. I probably must put in some horseback-riding too, in order to pull it off, but I saw it would be possible to do both. I'm thinking about springtime, May maybe. Do you think that's a good time?

I'd like to visit the high Tatras, because I could meet my
distant relatives living (still living?) on the Slovakia side.

We also have a 'thunderstorm season' here in Arizona. It can
lower the temperatures quite rapidly.

Well, it's time for me to examine some more ideas for bat guano.
