Good info.

Why do they call this place The Pinnacle? Around here pinnacles are used to describe high rock towers. There is a place in Utah by the same name The Pinncale, but it is a rock tower of several hundred feet and it seems kind of weird to have a pinnacle that isn't a rock tower. Is the definition different back east or is there a different origin behind the name?

I am planning on Wheeler Peak. The only thing that would stop me is $$. A university education aint cheap.

I understand. However, I can easily get down there on the morning of May 21st. Preferably, I'd like to know by May 10th, if possible.
