Good basic info. Some paragraph breaks would help. Cheers William

Nice page on this impressive and rarely climbed peak. When I first visited Nepal in 1977 it was the highest unclimbed mountain in the country, so I was told.

Thanks for your vote and for all the pictures. I did the trip to the Langtang in ´97 and was completely taken away by the beauty of Gangchenpo. Those lost photos really hurt...

Nice page, with nice photos.

Maybe you can make the link in the last section clickable?

To do this, type:

<a href="www.sbg.ac.at./gew/people/schramm/nep2002.pdf" target=_blank> Geological paper </a>

Hope to see more 7000ers ..?

Cheers,

Rick

Ah I see my mistake.. Try:

<a href="http://www.sbg.ac.at./gew/people/schramm/nep2002.pdf" target=_blank> Geological paper </a>

I forgot the 'http://' part in the link.

Does it work this way?

The link doesn't seem to work anymore, so I think that's why the page maintainer removed it. I believe the paper was about a massive landslide in this area, destroying a huge mountain that could possibly have been higher than Everest. Quite interesting...

Maybe you can google for the author and the name of the mountain and find it somewhere else?

I have put the link on the Tsergo Ri page (fits much better there). The link to the full paper doesn´t work anymore, but I have replaced it with a link to the abstract of the original paper.
