Hi jimmyjay,

I've done extensive edits to this page, so maybe you want to check it out and upgrade your vote? Thanks

Like Rob, I too live in the area. My favorite run is up in the Sierra Azul OSP just north of this peak. I can't decide if that darned box is a historical landmark or an eyesore. But I've always wanted to go visit the peak.

I don't think this is a bad first effort - it is very rare for SP to have members this young that can write decently. I would concur though that better proof-reading will make your page better.

Edit: I agree David - much better!

Wow! Bob Burd acually gave a response. Thank you for doing so. I've been on your website before and I'm really impressed. Anyway, I'll always keep up with my editing on my Umunhum page: this is the first webpage I've hosted for a mountain, and I'm still learning.

Welcome to SP David! If you hang around enough you'll see I post quite a bit on SP. :-) It's one of my addictions in addition to peakbagging. I thought some of the comments on your page were a little harsh, but they were made with good intentions. You'll find that many members are quite passionate about SP and its integrity - I think you'll do fine with a bit more attention to the details. Happy climbing!

This message pertains to your trip report, not your vote but this is the best way I know of to leave you a message. In your trip report you say you were inspired by a couple of seventeen year olds to go up to Umunhum and Thayer. David and I were under the impression that you meant us, but we're both only fifteen. Were you reffering to us and got our ages wrong or were you inspired by someone else? If it was someone else I'd be interested in knowing who.

Nope - it was you guys. I'll correct the trip report. We should go climbing sometime - I've never done a serious outing with someone 1/3 my age. :-)

I think this is the first time I've been involved in inspiring someone.

I agree with everyone - this is a very good effort for your first mountain page and your tender age. Keep up the good work!
