Hasn't voted | The road to Angel Lake is very rarely plowed during the winter. This shouldn't be much of a problem because the local climate often leaves the road clear of snow to within a few miles of the lake. Unfortunately, the Nevada Dept of Transportation feels they have to close the gate near the Forest Service boundary whenever the road is not passable all the way to the lake. This can add miles of pavement walking when attemping Greys Peak from the East during winter. | |
