Thanks Jared, I look forward to the report and some of the pics. Someone the other day refered to those conditions as being like hiking in a ping-pong ball. I can't imagine a better description.

I know you're still working on this, but I'll jump the gun anyway. Good job. I was wondering when someone would put up St. Vrain ever since climbing Meadow Mountain last winter. I was looking through my pictures, but they're all the same as yours anyway. Perhaps you should mention that St. Vrain and Meadow can be climbed together with very little backtracking? Also, there is supposedly great BC skiing to be had on the slopes of both.

Good stuff!

Hey, thanks Charles, I will link Meadow to the page along with mention of the combo. The backcountry sking prospects were very evident. I wasn't planning on that kind of snow up there, but this last storm uped the total.

If you ever get a chance to travel the Middle St Vrain Drainage, I would highly recommend it. It's gorgeous up there. I wouldn't mind going back to do Elk Tooth again some day.

Yeah, it's too bad that we couldn't see anymore than a few feet most of the day Sunday. It would clear enough to reveal only small portions of the surrounding area.

Ive been thinking of putting this one up for a while, glad someone finally got around to it! This has been a standard early season hike for me for several years. Nice job on the page.
